Pruritus or Itching

What can we do against the itching?

The Monster of Itching does not support ignoring. That is, if you want him to leave you alone, you can act as if nothing was itching you. If you have a mosquito bite, don’t scratch it. If you have a grain of chicken pox, do not touch it. It's hard to do, but if you make it, the monster of itching will end up turning around with his cloak down and walking away.

The first thing to do when you have a lot of itching is to be careful when scratching ourselves, because we can get hurt.
When Pruritus (intense itching) was caused by mosquito or bee bite, or the contact with a nettle or any item that we know, we have to clean the area to remove the cause of itching.

The pharmacist will advise us with a medicine that relieves the itching.

When we have very annoying itch often, spread throughout the body, or we do not know what is causing it; you must go to the doctor to know what the cause is.

Dry skin also causes itching. Especially in the winter when it's cold out and the heating of the houses reduces the moisture, the skin dries out and can get irritated and inflamed. It is best to hydrate the skin and drink water. Oatmeal baths also help to soften it.

Avoid being too long in the shower, the water should be warm, you should not use a lot of soap. Be careful! The Monster of Itching always opens the soap bottle caps so it falls more. ;-)

It is essential to keep the skin hydrated. The pharmacist will advise you.

And watching! The monster of itching moves, especially at night.
